Our GB senior men head out to the World ParaVolley Sitting Volleyball World Cup for an intense competition. They will travel to Egypt to play 14 other nations vying for the Paralympic Qualification slot that is up for grabs as the winner of the competition.

The men’s teams for the competition are: - 14: Algeria, Brazil, China, Egypt, France, Germany, Great Britain, India, Iran, Iraq, Japan, Rwanda and Nigeria, Ukraine.
There will also be 10 women’s national teams participating in the 2023 Sitting Volleyball World Cup.
Paralympic Qualification Routes - road to Paris
There are a number of ways to qualify for sitting volleyball for the Paralympics with 8 spots available per gender.
The hosts take the first spot which here is France.
Then we have the winner of the World Championships which took place in 2022. For the men, the winner was Iran, and for the women Brazil.

Asian zone - men Kazakhstan, women China
European zone - men Bosnia & Herzegovina, women Italy
African zone - postponed: winners TBC
